My meeting with the gallery was at 1… The kiln was still at 350 degrees at 12:50. So I didn’t get much time with these pots.

Jake calls this one gimpy. I ❤ gimpy.

I kept this one for myself, might enter this yunomi to a yunomi show coming up.

and then enter this one to a show at Mudfire.

So now to clean out my studio and start over.

Is probably my least favorite part. 3-5 layers of brushed on underglaze makes me a little loopy.

but the end result is worth it.

found this ladies card. she looks like such a bad ass. She’s a local tree trimmer. I want to see her in action!

mugs in their new homes and new work

So mugs arrived at Trouble Coffee Company last week. Some drama, but it’s all worked out now.

Diana Fayt is amazing and went to trouble, took some pics of the cups in their new home.

Diana is the best. ❤

husbands birthday!

It’s my husbands 30th birthday today.

No pots today just food.

I looked up how to make frosting, never realized how easy it is. I will never buy store bought frosting again. I got so excited with this new skill that I made 3 different kinds.

whipped peanut butter
cream cheese
and white russian buttercream. (i kept adding vodka and kaluha.. so it’s a bit strong, but i’m sure jake will love it)

I’m excited to ice the cupcakes and put the cake toppers on 🙂

>Somehow I caught a cold the day after christmas, it’s been a fun few days sneezing my head off. But I was getting antsy to start making again so I made two bowls.

and I spoke to Giulietta over at Trouble Coffee Company, we are heading forth with some new mugs. Here are the mock ups. So hopefully at the end of next month, if you’re in San Francisco you can pick one up.
